Half a hundred Dutch students visited Radio X!

About two months ago, we were delighted to open our mailbox. We received an enquiry from a group of students at Hanze University in the Netherlands that they were interested in the work of Radio X and would like to visit us. It was a good idea.

Two months ago, we received an enquiry from students at Hanze University that they would like to visit us during a visit to Budapest. The Radio X team is always very happy to meet new people, it's usually a lot of fun, so we got straight to work organising it.

The visit took place on Saturday 11 May. Early in the morning Norbert Szabó (Sznoka) and KáDé drove around in a very sympathetic Opel Combo, as it turned out that we didn't have enough chairs to seat so many people, which was embarrassing. From here, too, many thanks to the Villamos Független Szakszervezet and Civil Radio for saving the day.

The 50-strong team visited two groups of 25 people, where we gave a short presentation on community radio as a genre, media literacy and the great things Radio X has done so far. It was a great experience to get a lot of questions about our work and we tried to answer them to the best of our ability.

Thank you all very much for making this meeting possible - we had a lot of fun and we will not forget this day for a long time!
